Law enforcement is already aware because they’re the ones hosting it. There is a-lot of information about honeypots on the dark web.

Trends like this is like trickle down economics. If the adults find fun in using it the teens will use it, and then the children will catch on. I would argue it being illegal also encourages minors to get it; so even If they enforced it better, there would be people willing to take risks.
It’s always never an attempt at combatting child abuse, it’s an attempt at gaining power or control.

I agree, Twitter doesn’t have a big of a filter like Reddit has. You’re more likely to find something you’d like on there than Reddit.
