I know this may seem trivial to many, but I have not found any remarks by Elon Musk that are definitively sexist (including transphobic, homophobic, misogynistic, etc.).

I frequently read online that he IS a sexist (among other things), so I want to ask: what are the most evident examples of that?

I did find him calling Elizabeth Warren “Senator Karen” and saying “You remind me of when I was a kid and my friend’s angry Mom would just randomly yell at everyone for no reason”, but this does not seem like sexism or misogyny, just a plain insult in response to her comments. Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t misogyny the hatred, contempt, or prejudice based solely on someone being female? This remark by Elon Musk seemed more like a retort using a gender-specific insult. Female-specific insults aren’t necessarily misogynistic, right? That’s more about stereotyping, which is bad but different.

I am asking this in all earnest, even though some may interpret it as trolling.

Jokes and memes are excluded because it’s challenging to ascertain intent. Hearsay is also excluded. PS: Is there perhaps a better /c/ I can ask?

You got served pretty good in the original thread. Yet you come here asking the same question. What are you hoping to accomplish?

Your comment history says otherwise. I’m gonna just go ahead and block you.

      please do.

edit: before people misinterpret. The reason I’m posting now is because people misinterpreted my motive in previous discussions. This is most likely caused by the style in which I phrased my comments, which mimic the style of trolls, trying to conceal malicious intent by asking dumb questions. So I wanted to start with a clean plate so people are not mislead.

Lemmy is very hostile to people that don’t have views or thinking that aligns with most of its users. More hostile than Reddit, I would go to say. Whether you were earnest or not never mattered in this situation, you were getting downvoted regardless. Unfortunate, but the quicker you understand that maybe the less this stuff happens. Lemmy is a big echo chamber just like Reddit or Facebook.

This dude is getting legitimately downvoted for JAQing off. Also, his home instance is explicitly anti-corporate and anarchist, so defending right wing billionaires is against our rules. You are correct that Lemmy is generally left of centre, depending on the instance, so JAQing in defense of billionaire assholes is never gonna go down well.

Your question was already answered in the other thread. I recommend you read it and maybe Google a few things.

The word “cis” is considered a slur, and banned on the trainwreck formally known as twitter.

    That’s quite a remark.

      No it’s not.

It only prompts you with a warning that it can be considered a slur in some occasions but it’s not banned and wont prevent you from using it.

He has PR talk about how he has “relationships” with his female employees (the correct word would be harassment). The idea of consent goes out the window when the person asking you for sex acts could fire you for saying no.
