While I agree that the title is a bit clickbaity, and not necessarily needed in a place like lemmy compared to reddit because of the small userbase, I think your comment was a bit rude and that this could have been said more nicely. Please practice good etiquette and politeness, especially when interacting with an OC poster. She followed all of the community rules and is making posts, those are both good things.

I understand. And I agree. I could have said it nicer. And she most definitely followed the rules. I said this in another comment but I think playing onto that trope is bad form. OP is clearly attractive (she knows it) and there was no need to milk that trope. It’s disrespectful to people with real body image struggles.

I wish people could be just a little more creative with their titles. I just dislike tropes. It’s like seeing every video title be some variation of “my step father, stsp brother, step sister, daddy. Etc.”, it’s just like “come on man…do something different.”

But point taken. Thanks for being polite with your feedback.

I understand, I get tired of it too. But I also understand this is part or all of some people’s livelihood, so they gotta do what works, and that’s definitely what works on reddit and other mainstream platforms. I hope lemmy can be different, but I don’t blame her for doing the same thing that works elsewhere.

And thanks for your civil response!
