As we in the US and Europe have been claiming about the size of Russian economy - it’s that of Texas, that of Italy, that of California.
Alright. However, if that’s the case, how come that US, of which Texas or California is a part, haven’t been able to defeat it?
Europe, of which Italy is a part too, haven’t been either.
US and Europe combined haven’t been able to either.
Where’s the logic here?
Define “defeat”? It’s not like they don’t have other allies in the world who will help them. Russia and China are allies as bad actors in the rest of the world. If sanctions against one go into effect, the other will help them out, as we’ve recently seen.
Russia has a terrible economy for the landmass they represent. They don’t effectively use their resources, and they are not an innovative economy either. They are just managing to scrape by, and aren’t in great shape.
So how do mean to “defeat” them?
