    My optimal dream is to have the Republican party splinter apart and lose power, allowing the Democrats to also separate into its own different stances, but that’s going to really need a change in a voting system to be more than a singular event.

    Sure, but meh, that’s part of democracy. I don’t mind their being opposing parties. I don’t like that there are just TWO of them that people seem to think are the only options. So I’m not being a part of that, and I’m voting for who I think is the best fit.
