There is no way in hell owing this much funding to a private interest does not constitute a gross conflict of interest.
I keep imagining ways the proletariat could fund our own PAC and buy the elections back from the rich but each time I keep remembering that I’m accidentally forming a federal government again. Whoops.
It’s almost like throwing this kind of money at politicians undermines the democratic process and should be illegal.
