As someone who is very concerned about the escalation of this war into a possible global conflict, I can only say it seems like it would be a very wise and prudent move for Russia to withdraw all troops from Ukraine immediately, in the name of peace.
It already is a global conflict.
why should we make them do that? Everyone knows that when we appeased the nazis and facists in the late 30s they became content peace loving people.

MOSCOW, May 15 (Reuters) - President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday that Russian forces were improving their positions every day along the front in Ukraine in all directions and that the advance was going to plan.
I have been repeatedly informed that the Three Day Special Military Operation is going according to plan.
While I am certain that Putin would not lie about the TDSMO going according to plan, and am sure that this is all part of The Plan, I am starting to wonder about the actual merits of his plan.
At this rate, Russia is on target to take the “inept military” meme crown away from France (I am fully aware they have perhaps the most capable military in Europe these days - I’m just referring to the Maginot Line related memes that have been around since WW2).
I guess the story of the boy who cried wolf was never translated into Russian.
Russia should get realistic and just wave the white flag already. But Ukraine is not without mercy. They understand if there is no more white cloth in Russia. White cloths stained brown, yellow, and red are still acceptable for surrender.
Russia better be careful their sabre doesn’t fall apart considering how frequently and aggressively they rattle it.
