Harris says she would appoint a Republican to her Cabinet if elected

In a clip of a CNN interview scheduled to air in full Thursday night, Harris said she was committed to welcoming diverse points of view.

“I have spent my career inviting diversity of opinion. I think it’s important to have people at the table when some of the most important decisions are being made that have different views, different experiences,” Harris said. “And I think it would be to the benefit of the American public to have a member of my Cabinet who was a Republican.”

    So you don’t know any repubs in real life?

    I do. And they’re unreasonable people. I don’t know why this is difficult to understand.

    Some of them are even my parents. It fucking sucks.

    I could not care less what an unreasonable person thinks of me, could I?

    This is not about difference of opinion. You have yet to even list 3 GOP policies that you agree with.

        The fact is, when you actually press any conservative like this, their entire belief system breaks down completely.

        Many of them have a sort of defense mechanism built-in to their brain that tries to protect them from the glaring cognitive dissonance. You should try to fight that.
