I wish we could see up/downvotes like in the past. I think reddit may be artificially boosting some posts into the front page.
I have no evidence other than noticing right after the election, /r/conservative seems to be hitting the front page every day. But I remember before the election, it only hit the front page once in a blue moon or so. Is this just me? Am I the only one noticing this?
Exposure does have impact, don’t kid yourself. There’s a reason ads work the way they are.
It also gives people a false sense of consensus and creates artificial peer pressure.

Always bothered me how much control a few mods have overr the whole internet (reddits the first google result) They fr have insane amounts of influence with no one to keep them in check. Theres a reason mfs like ghislaine maxwell thrived there.
People tweak over twitter with musk while reddits been heavily controlled like that since its inception
