My mom and I beat the game after about a million runs when it came out. I still have flashbacks to the boomboxes and muffins.

DOD Imagery guidelines state that only color correction can be applied to “make the image appear the same as it was when it was captured” otherwise it must be labeled “DOD illustration” instead of “DOD Imagery”
Right? I thought I went crazy when I got to “I just used Generative Fill!” Like, he didn’t just auto adjust the exposure and black levels! C’mon!
Specs absolutely matter. Incline of your lawn, outdoor outlet location, type of grass you have growing. I’d never recommend a plug in electric lawn mower to someone who needs to mow six acres of hills.
That said, electric mowers by and large are better for most consumers.
This comic is clearly about lawn mowers people. Who discusses cars when wearing a hat like that?
I mean, could easily be talking about lawn mowers, which also have gas and electric and arguable more priority for torque generation.
I mean, I’d rather he have no kids, so I agree that him being the father should be an exception.
In a world where Sony and Embracer are running around saying we need to be paying $70+ for games (while tipping the devs and buying micro transactions like a good like wallet)… You’re mad at the storefront?
Yeah, go into Walmart and demand they take less of a cut so… The publisher can take more from the devs?
Gabe is rich because he spearheaded a good service (which I’ll admit I thought was a scam back when I was forced to make an account way back when I had dial up) but… 30% is standard. For the price of games? Be mad at Embracer. Be mad at EA. You’re free to not like or use Steam but they let the publishers set the price. Their cut is a drop in the bucket. The whole ‘cut’ debate is just EGS propaganda.
Different guy but I’ve got over 2,700 games on Steam thanks to sales… So I’ve probably saved at least one thousand… Maybe not two, unless we count not buying for Star Citizen as a savings!
I asked my buddy at work how he was doing and he said “I need to get this money, ya know? It’s tight.” Meanwhile, he’s paying weekly for what I pay monthly for a car. My phones are always bought secondhand and for the most part I only blow money on videogames.
You can be “doing good” financially because you make enough money to afford the lifestyle you want while “living paycheck to paycheck” because you spend 100% on your lifestyle.
My office phone has a dial tone. It’s VOIP but when you pick up the receiver it BOOOOOOOPs… So I think it was last week I heard one…
Hopefully not for the last time…
Hmmm… A department of Justice press release written in 2021 praising a current administration effort. Sounds like something that must be 100% factual and not written for any other reason than pure truthiness.
I was gonna say “Clearly you’ve never been in the desert!” but then you mentioned playing in the sandbox and I get that.
That said, even in Texas, a good 90% of the summer is “Going outside will sting, staying outside will burn in a matter of moments” weather. I’ve had those 110°+ days and those “So far below zero the LCDs in your car freeze” days of Upstate NY during a lake effect blizzard and all I can say is, both suck.
That said, I prefer the cold. This is coming from a prior cold weather injury as well but I fall back on “No bad weather, just bad gear.”
Tell that to Zod’s snapped neck the nemesis system.
My Cyberpunk installation has about 177mb of saves right now.
Every other game is basically <1mb.
My Dell XPS 13 (Windows) will kill it’s battery if you look at it funny… Or don’t look at it at all.
One time, I fully shut down the laptop and put it in my carry-on.
When I took it out after my flight, my bag was suspiciously warm and the battery was fully dead. Power management on Linux might be a joke but Dell is certainly the Carlos Mencía of the comedy club. At least I know my enemy now though. I unplug the battery to turn it ‘off’.
Back in the day, when it was light-hearted things like Habbo Hotel raids, Triforcing, and secretly hiding CP in the images you upload so that other people help proliferate CSAM.
If you can’t tell by that last part, I don’t go there anymore. /b/ was never good and all that.
Every now and then, I check it out though. I’m obviously old and certainly not anyone’s personal army so I look at a page or two of porn and gore and shrug, click out, and let time march onward.
I mean, Fossil ended support for my Gen 5 a while back and… It still works. I mean, I mostly use it as an alarm and “ability to feel my phone vibrate when ringing” machine but it still operates…
Until it doesn’t, I guess. The battery life is already shit and I’m jealous of my partner’s Garmin.
Take CapCut off because it’s more like TikTok editing than video editing.
Divinci has a learning curve but any curve is better than learning solely on a ByteDance owned product.
A neighbor runs his own plumbing company. He’s got an early 2000s Dodge and formerly an early 2000s Ford.
His main complaint about modern trucks, after the price, is the bed being too high for him to easily load and unload equipment.
