Ex-egg. Turns out wishing you were a girl does work.
It took me a while to understand this comic when I first saw it, but I get it now.
For the longest time I just dismissed the possibility of being trans, because obviously I wasn’t. Would sure have been nice to have been born a girl, though…
Fortunately even the strongest denial eventually withers after hearing Actual Trans People talking about their experiences which were exactly like mine. Gee, funny that.
Ouch! That reminds me of one of the episodes which led to my egg cracking…
Scene: me, out drinking with some friends who just happen to all be women (no hint there, obviously). Fairly well-oiled at this point.
Me: Since everyone else is a girl, maybe I should just become one too, ha ha!
Fren (surprised): Where did that come from? Are you transgender? That’s cool if you are, I’m bi by the way.
Me: Ha ha no, only joking, just felt like the odd one out that’s all, let’s change the subject right now…
Me (to self): fuck fuck fuck where did that come from, I mean I do want to be a girl, but cis people don’t say that kind of thing, dumbass
Get home; wake up with hangover and gender crisis.
Definitely not trans
OK, possibly a bit trans
You caught me :3
No (that’s the joke), but part of me thinks that would make more sense than distinguishing people based on whether their AGAB matches what they currently identify as.
Better than I could put it, thanks!
The joke is using twisted logic to avoid identifying as trans. As I understand it, cis/trans usually refers to same/different identified gender vs that assigned at birth. Instead, we’re saying “well I’m a girl now, which matches what I wanted, no need to call myself trans”
Does that help? I’m very new to this myself…
Hehe. I’m so glad to hear your wife supported your transition.
Thanks!
I should make it clear I didn’t mean to imply that men can’t wear makeup, just that this… err, character is interested in the girly kind.
Never mind the tits, give me some of whatever is causing that hair! Actually, wait. Tits as well.
