Fun fact, Trump ran for the Reform Party nomination, which eventually went to Pat Buchanan, back in 2000.

ranting: noun
a long, angry, and impassioned speech. “at times, his rantings would become incoherent”
adjective
speaking at length in an angry and impassioned way.
I’m more familiar with the definition that includes the length of the speech. If you were using a definition that only refers to the energy, then I wouldn’t call it hyperbole.
Calling it ranting is hyperbole, but but he did randomly start talking about immigrants murdering women when answering the question about abortion.
What’s updog?
Their not worried about it
Theoden: “You…”
Saruman: “No. That was a rhetorical question”
Theoden: “And I gave you a rhetorical answer”
Saruman: “Good Lord Sauron, I traded Boromir for this…”
Oh, that’s much better, added.

Theoden: “And I gave you a rhetorical answer”
Saruman: “Good Lord I traded Boromir for this…”
This comment is beautiful. It manages to admonish another for a concept it in of itself can not grasp.
Oh good… and here I was horrified thinking that had to be one of the worst ways to go…
Well, I’d contest that, but my opinion on the topic isn’t really that strong.
Well you see, when a capitalist and a politician love eachother money very much, they engage in an act of love collusion. This gets both of them very much money. So much in fact, that they couldn’t possibly hold on to all of it. And the money that falls out of their pocket trickles down to every one! Thus, products are improved, and everyone gets their needs met!
This is the free market in action, and anyone who disagrees is a dirty Commie!
I wish I had opinions as strong as this.
Everything is about US. That’s why we are called US!

Certainly true for a lot of use cases, but not all. Many folks, like my father, only need access to a web browser anymore. Got him in Linux Mint well over a year ago, and neither he nor I have had to touch the terminal.
For him, Linux is easy, Linux removed the problems Windows caused, troubleshooting has not been needed.
Linux can be all the things you said, but trying to over play the complexity of the learning curve can also be disingenuous and scare away new users.
It’s really easy to avoid sentencing, I’ve done it all my life by following one simple rule: Don’t Do Crimes.
Yeah, sorry, I misunderstood this to mean, “not doing crimes == not being convicted”. Which sounded a lot like the “if you’re innocent, you have nothing to fear from the police” mentality.
As much as Trump is obviously guilty as fuck, I’m not willing to adopt the “if you’ve done nothing wrong, you have nothing to fear from the cops law” mentality.
But in the end, they’d really only be cheating themselves.
You ask for civility, but you compare Alfred “Motherfucking” Pennysworth to Biden!? Alfred is a god damned certified bad ass! Of all the terrible comparisons! You sir, are obviously trying to be inflammatory!
