I have been buying second hand Pixels 4a’s for my family. To me, they’re the perfect phones. I put LineageOS with MicroG on them and use them without Google. I logged in my throwaway Google account to check if some of the IMEI qualify for a battery swap, but it gives me an error when I enter any IMEI.
Do you guys have an idea why this might happen? I’d love to get new batteries for free in them and use them another 6 years or so.
Vegan Bullshit Bingo #9
Fake meat is highly processed and chemical
Everything consists of chemicals. What matters are the kind of ingredients. Not every cryptic word on the food label is inherently bad. Organic food also allows more than 50 “e-number” additives. The ingredient list of fruits would also be quite long when synthesized. It depends on the product. There are good and bad examples to be found. Just as many animal products are highly processed. A Vegan diet works great without substitute products, using legumes, vegetables, fruit, nuts, grain, pasta, potatoes, rice etc… This broadens your horizon past simple mac and cheese while getting to know many new ingredients.
I also get very alienated by the “diversity” and “feminism“ modern Hollywood & Netflix cinema. It’s the same type of diversity and feminism that exists in corporate, where there is diversity in terms of ethnicity and sexuality, but only within class.
Are you talking about Rainbow Capitalism?
Wait, rainbow capitalism wasn’t sincere?
I left the Amazon ecosystem a couple of years ago because fuck Bezos and it wasn’t a big deal, really. Accumulating stuff is a mindset I could reason myself out of. I call it the power of No, thank you. I buy mostly second hand now and it’s so calming. Saves me money as well.
Never meet your idols.
I seriously stopped being a fan of any public figure because people seeking public attention are mostly off-putting at least. Then come the narcissists and psychopaths, it gets only worse.
All these mouse cursor touchpad for big phones-apps. They seem pretty easy to do and are quite handy.
I am reading THIS BOOK and it is not fun
I love second hand shopping for everything, even smartphones and laptops. Just yesterday I bought several pairs of shoes for the kids, some nice sweaters, toys and two wine glasses second hand and I paid 18€ in total, no lie.
Society was brainwashed into buying new shit, while drowning in second hand shit that just looks slightly different. Insanity!
I don’t agree, but I see your point. Still, the green party is the only german party that honestly understands what climat change will do to us in the coming centuries. I trust their will and promise to do something about it. Politics is always compromises. So, even if I don’t agree with some things they do, I will vote for them until we get a green chancellor. We can still split about many topics and opinions afterwards.
No green in the picture and the guys polo says DIE LINKE, so it’s probably the leftists
PLANTS HAVE FEELINGS TOO
is #22 on the Vegan Bullshit Bingo:
No, they do not. There is no serious study to suggest that they do. Plants do not have a brain or central nervous system. At most, they respond to stimuli. If you really care that much about the welfare of plants, you should go vegan, since many more plants “die” for animal feeding. Do you feel bad while mowing your lawn? And would you rather rescue a potted plant than a dog from a burning house? Is docking pig tails the same as branch trimming to you? Question upon question…
This is wrong. Nearly all (source) of the soy the Amazonas gets destroyed for is animal feed. We give about one third of the global grain we produce to animals, we could end global hunger if we’d give it to humans. Plus we could reforest vast regions, so we don’t die, as a species. Go vegan please.
This was one incident a hundred years ago. Kinda strange, I have to admit. But do you know why PETA kills so many animals? And do you know that the whole story was published by the dairy industry?
Oh no, it’s you again. I remember talking to you, commie. :)
Is this your reply? Picking words instead of staying in the conversation? Alright:
We pay slaves to kill animals for us because we are accustomed to the taste. What now?
So animals living a happy life without humans making them suffer is good? We both want that, right?
I oppose racism, sexism, trans- and homophobia. And I oppose speciesism as well. It’s the same system: One group considers another group as less valuable and exploits, abuses or fights them.
You just draw the line at you own species.
Animals are innocent, vulnerable and easy to abuse because they don’t have a voice and don’t understand the situation we put them in. If they were human children or mentally disabled humans, we would protect them from harm because of who they are. Instead, we do the most horrible things to them, we take their freedom, their babies, their lifes. In factories, on an industrial scale. Because a pig is just a pig, right?
How is this whataboutism? We’re talking about animal rights. A sick cat and a billion suffering mammals are the same topic, no?
I absolutely agree. I use it at home for lots of different tasks and put it on my parents laptops as well. It might not be the hottest, most modern disto for the cool kids but it’s a great experience.
