I used to have Yuzu, but reformatted my Deck after the DMCA, and I don’t wanna bother compiling Yuzu myself. So I switched to Ryujinx.

You need to switch the graphics backend from Vulkan to OpenGL. I’m running it really well, get the max FPS steady, and my Deck doesn’t even get hot. To top it off, I have the GPU downclocked to half speed. I could downclock the CPU too, but I keep it unbound so the load times stay quick. It’s the best performing Switch game I’ve played to date, stressing the Deck maybe half of what it’s capable of.
I’m running it on a first gen Deck with absolutely no issues, and a steady framerate. Be sure to switch your graphics backend from Vulkan to OpenGL, that should fix the crashing.
The game doesn’t take a lot out of the Deck, so I actually have the GPU downclocked to 800Mhz, and the refresh rate locked to 30FPS, since that’s what AC runs at. I keep the CPU at normal clock because it makes the game load faster, but you can also downclock that if you don’t mind the load times.
Not really looking to be a mod, but I wouldn’t mind helping out, since I can’t afford to donate right now. I’m in CST (GMT-6), and you might say I’m a little active. Terminally online, I think I’ve been called.
I’m probably not the most knowledgeable here when it comes to tech, but I do have an Unraid NAS with, among other services, a full Servarr stack automating my entire media intake, from TV shows and movies to audiobooks and novels, which pipes everything to the related media server and deletes it after I’m done watching.
And you already know I’m an anarchist, since we talked about it recently.
lmao the meltdown continues
In before some tankie claims the elderly were nazis.
According to tankies, this is what peak performance looks like.
I’m a huge fan of money laundering, myself.
Usenet and the Servarr apps will cover any movies or tv shows you want to watch. I use Jellyfin to stream it to my TV, and Jellyseer for finding shows to watch.
You can run it all on your PC via Docker, or on a NAS if you have one. You can even set up Jellyfin to delete media you’ve already watched, so the whole process is pretty much automated besides telling it the shows you want with Jellyseer.
Also, use the Trash guides to set up the Servarr apps. This is a must.
I have a feeling nobody else at the yacht club got anywhere close to understanding the joke.
I have a first gen Deck, still at 98%.
Uh, that’s used to keep the game from pausing when it autosaves, like it does on Windows. I don’t think they use it any other time.
Actually it would probably be even better then that if it wasn’t plugged in all the time. Without battery conservation on, the battery lifespan is reduced by being plugged in constantly.
OMG here’s a five paragraph comment on how that’s the wrong distro for you
I can respect that.
But for how long? Many distros are switching to Wayland, and there’s no reason to assume SteamOS won’t follow suit in the future.
Duolicious? That owl has been busy, I see.
What sort of genres do you like?
That’s where the AI goes to post things it thinks are memes.
Here’s a screenshot for proof, so you know I’m not making it up.
