Agreed about changing the copyright law.
Until that happens though, they must not be allowed to have it both ways - call us “pirates” when we copy their shit without paying for it, and tell us that paying for shit they copy is “impossible”.

Maybe. Probably. Who can keep track?
Libraries are still a thing. You can still go there to borrow a book, read it, and return it, so that others can read it.
Public libraries are under assault from every direction.

You mean OUR Communist inspired fantasy football league, comrade.
Itanium jokes are never going to be not funny!
It’s a trap!
I’m one of those people that couldn’t get past the middle part. Plus, something about that engine gives me terrible motion sickness after 30 minutes of playing.
I’m a software developer. All my relatives assume that I know how to troubleshoot every computer problem they have. From cleaning up crapware-ridden ancient Windows XP laptops to replacing failed hard drives, they call me for help.
I mean I do, but that’s not the point!
Wait 5 second, they will tell you.
But Russia isn’t going to deal with the agreement
I’m pretty sure Putin is gonna have to deal with it.
Chaotic evil is “makes you create a ticket, doesn’t work on it, and then blames the ticket for the downtime to the CEO.”
Also, at least 27 percent of bears shit in the woods.
I mean what other choice is there? The way US elections are designed (electoral college, distribution of state representatives, re-drawing local districts on whims, unlimited amount of money being able to be poured into campaigns without any oversight or even reporting requirements, etc.,) voting for a third party is throwing your vote away. So you vote for the lesser evil. Unless you are so brainwashed as to vote against your own self-interest out of fear of the other side.
I take it as “received a diploma from an accredited educational institution”.
Isn’t this getting blocked in 24H2?
Didn’t they block the Shift-F10 workaround in 24H2?
What’s the alternative? Buying Chromebooks and creating a generation of Google drones?
Alright, As You Wish.
Those videos were not anti-FOSS. It was an honest look into the state of gaming on Linux that even the experts begrudgingly agreed with. If you listen to Linus’ personal views on Linux, he’s rooting for an alternative to Windows and Mac.
Oh absolutely, it’s just an ad for Proton products. That doesn’t make the point about degoogling any less relevant.
What are the alternatives though? Self-hosting an email server is practically impossible because spam detection will block you on every turn.
Easy solution. “The Internet Archive” should rebrand itself to “Archiving the Internet” to confuse everyone who talks about how “AI” should be able to steal books.
