Nah, eBay is mostly warehouse vendors now. I find it a little odd if I find an old school second hand item with bids. Also, at least in my country, most of the warehouse vendors offer free shipping. Aliexpress is generally cheaper per item tho

I have to ration disk space and internet here is typically not amazing
Kinda depends. Cop on duty? Probably not. Politician or business owner? Unless they can directly affect you, annoying banter. If they can directly affect you, based on vibes.
Um, we make fun of our authority figures but also believe the worst of them whatever they say about our national enemies (regarding Australia, national enemies include China, immigrants, the poor etc). There is more standard capitalist deference as well, you’re not going to slag someone who can fire you (to their face). And people are constantly ladder climbing as well, so there’s this sort of jockeying to have good banter while not creating enemies more powerful than you. I hate it. Its hard to navigate and people hide some real barbs behind “its a joke”.
idk how to change culture >.>
Weird to see a mention of perth and Kalgoorlie out here in the wild.
Sometimes. I have a hard time when to prioritise my own needs against other people’s, so I wind up vacillating between very meek and belligerent kinda randomly. Especially when it comes to social needs (e.g. if it feels like someone else is dominating a conversation with their topic of interest, and I have something I wanted to say about something 3 minutes ago but the person hasn’t stopped talking, idk what do).
I’ve taken a habit of quickly saying I don’t remember names well in some spaces. It comes up a lot in volunteering and activist spaces, where you might meet a dozen people at the same time and then not again for another month. Everyone has a quick laugh and forgives each other for forgetting their names.
(I feel weird if people refer to me by name, which probably says something about my relationship with myself)
I would just give them the username and password of my account, then they can enjoy tomb raider 3 or something.
Having no money and deciding that shouldn’t stand between me and media I wouldn’t pay for anyway. Also my local college’s DC++ network, where someone had about 20 TB back in 2006 (which was a bit of a culture shock after having been banned from watching most TV during childhood).
Part of me likes poring over lists of slightly different things with complex interactions, but for the most part I think such rules are a relic back when the design philosophy seemed to be “use these dice” and “the players might do it, there should be a rule and probably a roll”.
Also SR5 having drug effects separate to the drug prices, among many other things. I really want to see a more nerdy SR vidya but that probably won’t happen
I wonder if I can set up an image AI that only takes images from big company copyrights (with some weighting), also advertising
I’m sure it still happens a bunch, I got a random orbital sander second hand for quite cheap. No one sniped me, but it’s not like its a rare collectible.
