Regarding flight: where to? Of similar “democracies” Europe and Canada have similarly troubling trends. Scandinavia? Australia? SE Asia? Are they any better, really?

Link was paywalled for me and I could not make sense of the posted excerpt.
Tldr the measure bundles citizenship language (change from “all” citizens to “only” citizens can vote) and a RCV ban - among other things - into one constitutional amendment.
Mocha Joe! I fucking knew it! Cold coffee and cakey scones!
Seems to me like a white label system. Like all the bullshit copypasta Amazon brands, or home appliances like dehumidifiers.
Government spending does not require taxation if deficits are an option. In that sense, spending is decoupled from taxing and the multiplier effect is not dependent on tax revenues, so I’m not sure that addresses OPs statements.
I love a nice thick spline shaft in my tight bore
Just because I was curious: I counted 23 R, 22 D, 1 I. That might be off by one or two but I was surprised (well maybe not really) how evenly split it was
I have an MK4+MMU that I bought partially with the intent of building PLA-supported PETG and TPU parts. I haven’t dug in too far yet but in the few prints I’ve done the PLA has severely degraded interlayer adhesion. Presumably this can be addressed by purging (much) more on changes from PLA, but if I had known this before I bought, I would have seriously considered a multi-head printer.
I’m not seeing “cash for clunkers” types of arguments here - I’ve always seen EV adoption as more about market share of new cars rather than share of the entire fleet.
Of course the former leads to the latter, eventually.
Except…they didn’t keep up that same rate? M2 ij Jan 2020 was about 15.4 trillion, in April 2024 it was 20.9 trillion. So 26% of M2 supply was created since 2020, not 80%, not 95%.
I don’t know what you mean by this.
Unless you’re under the impression that the judge is part of the DOJ?
Or you think the DOJ shouldn’t be prosecuting this case against menendez?
I’m in his district, I’ll see what I can do
A nearby liquor store has 19.2 oz for $3, and there is usually a buy-2-get-$2-back rebate. At 9.5% alcohol that’s basically six drinks. Get smashed for $4
So you see the issue and have a workaround. Good! But that doesn’t mean that, as you said, “it’s not the cables that are the issue.” Why throw them away if they’re not an issue?
FYI the photo you’re referring to is of NY Attorney General Letitia James, not the judge. She looks black because she’s black.
So uh I take it we aren’t talking about this Dio here?
