I don’t know if Android has the AI features that ios 18 adds. My Android 14 ROM certainly doesn’t. There are a lot of AI apps for Android, but none of them seem to run locally.
You need more ram(8gb or higher) to run Local LLMs without impacting UX. Apple is way to greedy to give all the improvements in one go. It would probably be after IPhone 16 that the whole lineup may get the full suite of AI features.

Except for the iPhone 15 Pro, no iPhone will support local LLM.
Hub, with the way Apple advertised it I thought they’d bring local AI to at least the entire latest lineup.
