    Politics are a large ship. It’s not going to turn on a dime, but you do have to pilot it in the right direction. Voting for anyone but Harris is voting for the ship to turn back the other way towards the iceberg of climate change, hatred, and corporate oligarchy. Have patience and bear towards where you want to go and understand the ship doesn’t turn quickly.

        Not true. It might seem that way due to media coverage, but these things were a long time coming. The wheels have been turning since Reagan. There were also other events that changed the political climate like the Supreme Court judgement on the Bush/Kerry election. These events were threads that were pulled leading to those events.

        I mean, the entirety of the nation’s gay population was able to get married pretty much out of the blue one day while Obama was president, but that had events leading up to it too.
