I was in for a long time (before and during the Don’t Ask Don’t Tell era) and was stationed with, and more importantly friends with quite a few mostly-secretly, semi-openly and a few “I’m gay and I fucking dare you to do anything about it” types and the only demographic (snowflakes) who seemed to have problems with it were/are the I woulda served but… (insert bullshit excuse here) “patriots”.
