I think you missed the point of OP’s post: they have problems getting to shops that sell vegan fare.
shop around
I think you missed the point of OP’s post: they have problems getting to shops that sell vegan fare.
Posts just sticking their head in the sand saying “can’t everyone get along?”
I’ve neither stuck my head in the sand nor suggested that everyone get along.
I don’t understand anything you’ve written here.
Social settings exist outside of social media platforms
They aren’t crying about or anything
I was responding to what OP wrote in the post:
“We can’t even talk in this community dedicated to vegans without someone coming along and meatsplaining.”
I’ve edited my comment to make it clear what I was responding to.
Every single social media platform in existence has the option to block people. Or you could just, you know, scroll past. You don’t need to care about other people, even less so people who go out of their way to try and hurt you.
I don’t care what other people eat or what they think about what I eat. These kinds of posts seem childish to me.
Eh?
is experimental
tl;dr
I’m glad you’ve realised that what you wrote was incorrect.
kinda does
“Kinda” meaning not actually.
as close as anything can be guaranteed
So not guaranteed then.
Spreading out stock purchases across the market guarantees returns over the long run.
No it doesn’t.
VEGANS ARE DUMB BECAUSE THEY SHOW EMPATHY TO SPECIES OTHER THAN THEIR OWN
If this characterises your experience of others then you’re interacting with the wrong people.
There is no code in a running kernel written in Python, Perl or Ruby. Those languages are used in kernel’s source code tree in supporting tools, they aren’t kernel code.
Quantum mechanics is unintuitive. Appealing to intuition is not an argument, it’s avoiding bothering with an argument.
“Dozens of tons of cocaine worth several billion euros have been taken out of circulation,”
Which achieves nothing.
In the past, the common response to the idea was, “So, rocks are conscious?” This argument was meant to illustrate the absurdity of panpsychism.
To me, this response does not illustrate any absurdity in panpsychism.
non-GTK
What do you mean?
Gnome Software Store, Gnome Settings, System Monitor
All of these programs use GTK.
Because GNOME aren’t interested in building a desktop that works well with non-GNOME programs.
You may have missed that the best approach is not to switch but to dual-boot.
