What started out as just a spare optiplex desktop and needing a dedicated box for Minecraft and valheim servers, to now having a rack in my living room with a few key things I and others rely on. You definitely aren’t alone XD
Regular, proactive work goes a long way. I also stated creating tickets for myself, each with a specific task. This way I could break things down, have reminders of what still needs attention, and track progress.
Maybe it’s some kinda allergic reaction. I know some people will get migraine like symptoms with red wines. Something to do with the tannins (compounds that give the ‘dryness’ effect in wines).
Are these craft brews or domestic stuff like Coors/bud?
Where I live, there’s one charging station. And it’s like 8 miles or so from my house. I’ve yet to see more. It’s also a fairly rural area. I think we forget how much population lives outside cities.
I think (and I’m by far no particle physicists) that generally the larger the collider, the better the results can be. Also allows for more energetic collisions with potential discovery of new particles.

Depends on the model. Some are more involved than others.
If it’s not a touchscreen, it’s fairly easy to repair. Still shouldn’t have broke in the first place, but it’s just the back panel cover.
I’ve repaired hundreds of laptops across multiple vendors on all kinds of damage, fwiw.

I have a much simpler setup though. Just a ‘smart’ TV and a sound bar I paid about $200 for so nothing fancy.
Not actually looking for advice, just a thought experiment of quick, easy and cheap fixes.
I’ve always wanted to try putting something like a guitar compressor pedal in the audio chain just to normalize the peaks. My wife will find something to watch, but ends up spending half the time adjusting the volume, or just turning on subtitles.
