My thoughts is make the characters first there backstory and everything then roll for gender, as if I did gender first I would feel like I draw more towards stereotype of that gender. As one gender does not define who someone is. And this way they all seem more diverse and more alive that way.

I would be more careful on Lemmy.world. Feels like a lot of Lemmy.world doesn’t like instances where they question things like capatilism and such. I have blocked more communities and users on lemmy.world them .ml.

Lemmy.world. Full of capatilism lovers and it’s annoying. Plus a lot of American propaganda too. Would block it but it’s the biggest instance so shrugs
I use voyager and block words phrases and instances that bring that stuff up. And sometimes users who repeatedly do it too.
I’m also on Lemmy blahaj which don’t know if that matters. But over time I rarely have a lot of depressing political things in my feed anymore. Just every so often.
I have another account on Lemmy world for political things already I rarely use it.
TikTok was not as censored before the ban, people could talk about there genders race, could go live at protest, could criticize government shit.
Now I consider it trumptok. Probably a way for TikTok to cater to trump to not ban it by anything related to trump that’s negative to ban them and promote all things good trump.
It is no longer TikTok it is now just as bad as meta and x because that’s the only way they can see to keep the platform in the United States

Man pages are for people who already know a lot about Linux and understand all the nuances and understanding of Linux
Even after using Linux for many many years I still don’t understand wtf nearly all man pages mean. It’s like a fucking codex. It needs to be simplified but not to the extreme where it doesn’t give you information you need to understand it.
Tbh that’s most of Linux, not designed for average people, designed by Linux users who think that all others should know everything about Linux.
Other responses so far are valid but as someone who has known people with this kinda reaction to sex stuff, they had cptsd from sexual assault as a child. It triggered them. Things from childhood can pop up later in life. Or maybe a recent experience could have.

Try different ones out. I personally avoid Lemmy.world as there more pro capatilism and Oligarchy then other instances. And tend to block instances that are against capatilism and Oligarchy.
