I guess from my perspective I didn’t see much outcry towards Biden. He had a shitty debate but we all knew he is super old and was better than Trump anyway.
I just don’t see how voting for someone is “fighting” what they stand for. If big donors dictate Kamala’s platform and we vote for her then we support the big donors. Whereas if leftists stand together and refuse to compromise they’ll be forced to come to us.
The big donors abandoned Biden, so he dropped out. Those same donors profit off our healthcare system.
And why did they abandon him?
Because of one of the largest voter outcries in modern political history…
Which is almost assurdly why Kamala changed her stance on M4A. But Biden legitimately didn’t want M4A.
So Harris is still an improvement, and if people keep up the pressure, donors won’t try to pull her more to the right. And we can maybe pull her left.
Like, we’re 100% fighting the donors, we agree on that.
But I’m saying we can’t stop fighting no matter what…
And your strategy boils down to “has anyone thought about if we stop trying to fight donor influence?”
I believe my path forward is more likely to result in the change we want, that’s where we disagree.

You don’t watch any of the late night shows, don’t read any political articles, and just joined social media?
It was literally everywhere…
