  • Imo, this is most likely AI. Facebook and Instagram both have incredibly sophisticated spam preventative measures. These companies are likely using artificial intelligence to generate brand new and highly intelligent scripts that continuously change to evade spam detection tools. Same thing happened on Twitter (You can look at my post history for an example). There was a bot spamming on Twitter and it had run out of credits for GPT resulting in the AI instructions to start being spit out instead of the fake messages it was supposed to produce.

  • I hate the phrase “borderline pedophillia.” Either they’re sexualizing children or not.

They hide behind the fact that character age isn’t expressly stated anywhere, so it’s technically not pedo behavior since it’s unknown what age it is. But me personally, I think they’re underage.

Example from Zenless subreddit. Piper is a character that looks like she’s anywhere from 10 to 15 years of age, and people are posting her half naked.

Here’s another post with a very one-sided discussion about NSFW art for characters who are clearly minors, in which the community basically downvotes anyone who tries to voice their opinion that creating erotica and other NSFW art for minors and adolescents is wrong. Truly disgusting behavior, and I’m in disbelief that there’s a gaming community out there today like this…

  • This is a big reason why inceldom has risen imo

I haven’t seen it nearly this bad until this year. This is the worst year I’ve ever seen for it, and Hoyo games are by far the worst

hey if impregnation is your kink, you do you

It seems like it’s worse than that. I’ve seen people making extremely inappropriate comments about young characters. For example in Zenless Zone Zero subreddit, there are people that post pictures of the young characters that look like children, Piper and a few others that I don’t recall off the top of my head. But they are half naked and fan art of them in extremely suggestive positions. Borderline pedophilia but it’s a made up fictional character so they claim it doesn’t count and it’s perfectly fine. Such a strange view on reality

  • And that’s probably why. Why they wouldn’t just say that, I don’t know. There are lots of places that will do transnasal esophagoscopy throughout the US, so it isn’t a procedure that is just “not done here” or anything, its not as popular in general because its just not as thorough of a procedure.

Here’s the exact wording I got from my Gastro in the USA in a major metro serving millions of people.

I have reached out to our gastroenterology department and have learned that we do not do this procedure. Additionally, we are not aware of anyone in the state of Georgia that offers it.

No one in the ENTIRE state of Georgia… does a Nasal Endoscopy or esophagoscopy, a common procedure all across the world. Truly asinine.

  • I know the sedation is not medically necessary, lots of places outside the USA don’t do it at all. Japan, Europe, etc. There’s research studies that even show non sedated procedures are being used and have been favorably received. Every single doctor I’ve asked about them, they outright refuse to do it without sedation or anesthesia. Guess how much that costs? Thousands of dollars, with insurance. So I have to pay about $5,000 at least out of pocket a year for insurance, then I have to pay $3,500 for this procedure, and the last two that I’ve gotten, they haven’t shown anything. So naturally I’m like okay, can we do a less invasive one without sedation, like they do in other countries? Absolutely not. We won’t do that, and we don’t know anyone else who will ever do it. Like what the hell is this?

  • Exploration is one of the most enjoyable parts of those games. It’s not boring in ES or FO because of all the things you find along the way.

Maybe the first playthrough, sure. But after the first time I played through Fallout 4 (65% explored POIs), I tried to replay it, and it felt stale that quickly. Just going from starter area > concord was such a snooze. Autorun and watch netflix. Oblivion was a little more captivating and scenic, and so was Fallout 3. You’d find random little homes blown up, robots, people trying to stab you with a rusty knife. Fallout 4 and 76 are just so empty and devoid.

Traveling != exploration. Eliminating the load screens just leaves you in boring space with no POIs to discover along the route.

Fair point… No Man’s Sky kinda figured out a way to make it more fun, you can do it much more interactively with the hyperdrive and warping through small spaces in a system. But there’s rocks to find, sometimes pirates that shoot at you. >

  • So your personal opinion of the game is the only thing that matters

Nope, there’s lots of real reviews out there besides my own. Generally, the community views star field incredibly negatively. You had to purchase it on Steam to leave a review. That’s an objective fact. Ain’t nothing fake about it. It was overwhelmingly negative on release.

How much money a game made, on the other hand, is worthless. Who cares? Call of Duty is objectively very profitable. Does that mean it’s a masterpiece now??
