These people live in their own delusional fantasy land and literally nothing will change their minds. My own father thinks Trump had a stunning performance at the debate and is literally enraged at me and everyone around him for not voting for dump. Donald trump is the sole source of truth for him. I’m pretty sure ol Donnie could say the sky is purple and the moon is fake and my dad would believe him.

  • I’m in the middle of an “Oops All Clerics” playthrough. Highly recommend. I have Light, Life, Tempest, and War. War is probably the weakest of the bunch but she’s good for holding concentration buffs. Throw on bless and Phalar Aluve Sing and you’ll never lose concentration on anything.

All of my ability checks get guidance and advantage.

This party is stupidly OP. The shadow cursed lands were a cakewalk, and I steamrolled Cazador without really trying. Hasted Tempest cleric pumps out obscene amounts of damage.

Light has access to fireball, wall of fire, and their Chanel divinity is a nuclear bomb with a huge range.

Life can almost bring a completely dead party back to full health.

And the Chanel divinities restore after a short rest, so I can deal with three moderate fights and maybe even a boss before I need a long rest.

I think Cleric might be my favorite class.

  • Fr this is a great idea (National Service, but not necessarily military service). We could train carpenters and electricians, repair people, maintenance and construction jobs. We could train medical assistants and dental hygienists’, vet techs, and build houses (high density housing located in an area with good public transit, of course), and railways, and so much more with our tax dollars.

And yes, a strong defense is important, so military service would count too. Like it or not lots of people across the world rely on American defense, and its wrong to betray those allies and obligations like Obama did when he let Russia take Crimea.

And the best part is (in my version of events) all those people who performed national service would qualify for TriCare and the GI Bill, so we don’t even need new programs. It won’t be easy, of course, but it gives our youth skills in higher education and trades, helps alleviate the housing crisis, improves American infrastructure, and invests in our future.

I’d also like to see some sort of UBI after the service ends to catch anyone who still struggles after but I expect that’d be relatively rare.
