I am 39. I have lived in California my whole life and I barely know anyone with their own PC other than myself. Gaming in general wasn’t even as mainstream as it is now, let alone PC gaming.

When I read about the PC scene I Europe during the 90’s, it makes me jealous I was born American because yeah; it wasn’t very common here. I’m not even sure how common it is now. Most people I meet who even play games are 15-20 years younger than me.

You should still see an increase with every level, it just won’t be as big once you start getting toward the max. Kinda like stats and soft/hard caps.

I was playing through Shadow of the Erdtree the other day and was imagining what the game would have been like if it was made by Kojima instead of Miyazaki. I feel like it would be the exact opposite vibe. Everything is vague and secretive as is. Kojima would have made everything blatantly obvious. Marika would have just been a thinly veiled metaphor for America (Marika = 'Merica) or something. Subtlety isn’t his forte.

I don’t understand what people’s problem with this format is except in the case of animated .gifs. I can view it. I can reupload it. It’s still an image and it still works. The exception is animations. Animations always end up as a still image when saved in that format.

Is that just for time and money or what? I’ve just been on Duolingo for about a month and some of the grammar rules have not been explained at all. Just that sometimes certain things are said a completely different way. 🤷🏻‍♂️
