Yeah, that’s a perfectly normal thing to do.
These erections are rigged!
You meant to say “ligged”, right?
I’m saying someone may have toyed with the erection results.
Erectioneering, you say?
On a related note, I was just searching fdroid for a signal app. I didn’t find one, but I did find an app that tracks your Morning Wood
Didn’t think you were serious.
Lol and you’re downloading it!
encouraging collaboration and innovation
Yes, let’s “collaborate” in regard to our morning wood.
“Hay bro, would you mind ‘innovating’ with my erection this morning? No homo”
Yep, thats the one
Edit: lol you’re downloading it?
lol you’re downloading it
As they should
Why? Its just going to show that I wake up with an erection 100% of the time. What’s there to chart?
Eventually that may change. Perhaps you start a new medication that changes your body or hormones. You could use this app to give accurate info to your doctor.
That’s valid, thanks
Dafuq kind of insight do i gain from it…
I guess it might help if you’re concerned about ED, since experiencing less (or no) morning woods can be a sign of physical ED.
Huh, ED caused by depression…never knew those were linked.
Interesting info, thank you.
And ED can be exacerbated by certain depression meds. There’s nothing wrong with my dick. If my wife were to grab it, it would work just fine I just don’t even think about sex every day and very rarely masturbate.
I knew about meds messing with your sex drive, been through that myself.
I’d be shocked if they weren’t linked.
I never really read up on it, even though i should.
The wife’s chronically depressed and i’m not doing much better either.
Really ? I don’t think I ever experienced this regularly ever. I have otherwise no issues getting it up
Does it require a sensor? Do they wear a fleshlight to bed? Is it camera based?
So many questions.
Also, theDailyBeast reporting on morning wood is quality humor from the matrix.
It’s completely normal father-son bonding. Find a different slant.
The dude gets weekly dick injections which he classifies as 9.5 out of 10 on a pain scale.
Weekly.
Dude is a fucking moron.
I’m going to laugh when he dies of self inflicted dick infection.
I truly hope that these people start getting massive organ failure and shit because of all of this experimental garbage they put into their bodies.
It sounds like the dude just has a CBT fetish and doesn’t want to admit it.
9.5 out of 10. In his dick.
Has anyone asked him why he wants to live forever if that’s what it takes?
My guess is he wants to live forever because he feels he has made no contribution to the world, or does not feel a sense of fulfillment and purpose from raising his family. Maybe he feels cracking the secret could be his contribution, or maybe he thinks he can find meaning in his life, given enough time.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bFnZsvh6pw posits that it’s because he was raised believing in eternal life through the church, and lost his faith but still wants eternal life.
thanks for recommending this channel, seems right up my alley!
Right? Miss me with that dick pain immortality.
You sure, bro? You missing out.
grabs dick as another firey torrent surges through his body
Probably because he knows he can’t take his wealth with him in death.
What’s the point of being pointlessly wealthy if you can’t be pointlessly wealthy forever?
“You get to live forever but in exchange you have to get incredibly painful injections in your dick on a daily basis.”
Sounds like a cursed genie wish.
What’s the quality of my life? Like 20s forever or do I still age?
It’s like those showerthought ultimatums : You can choose to gain eternal life, but every day your dick is the subject of the worst pain you’ve ever felt.
Jesus fuck. Why would anyone want to live forever, anyway?
Would you like to live one extra year than your otherwise normal lifespan? Yeah?
Yeah that’s pretty much why.
No, there’s too many dudes like him on the planet.
Clear them out and we’ll readdress the question.
I want optional mortality, yes. https://www.fullmoon.nu/Resurrection/PrimarySpecies.html
But, I gotta say, I don’t want to spend literally all my time just surviving, which seems to be this anti-aging zealot’s day.
Living day-to-day life like a Diablo minmaxer.
i think most people don’t really want to die. and they like living for all sorts of reasons. i hope you can think of at least a few reasons you’d like to go on living as well.
I don’t wanna live forever. But the act of dying is usually pretty horrible, so I wanna push that off as long as possible.
pushing off dying as long as possible, if done successfully, is living forever though? do you not see the contradiction in what you wrote?
I don’t want to die, but living forever sounds exhausting.
if you don’t want to die now, and you don’t want to live forever, is there some specific age/time you would like to die, if you didn’t have to?
If your oncle on FB does its wierd , but once your wierd oncle becomes milliardaire, he ll be called Anti Aging Zealot all over Internet
Lol idk why but I find it so funny that you are speaking English with French nouns.
I couldn’t get through more than about a paragraph before getting prompted to subscribe so I’m still little confused.
Why get measurements of your child’s erections in the first place? How does this son feel about his PHI being shared all over the internet? Hard to imagine anyone being okay with that.
i didn’t get any prompts, and read the article, so i’ll quickly answer.
- the guy is obsessed with penile behaviour as a measure of overall health, for some reason, and measured the nocturnal boners of himself, as well as his 19 year old son, as a point of comparison.
- the son shared his dick metrics himself. seems he’s well and fully invested in his father’s phallocentric longevity scheme.
Phallocentric longevity scheme is my new band name. PLS!

Often works for me
no.
What are you saying no to? I feel like I’m talking to my toddler nephew.
Do you not like the suggestion, or it doesn’t work for you, or you will not accept a random tip that wasn’t even directed at you specifically?
Do you want some raspberries?
Snozberries? Is it snozberries you want?
What a fucking weirdo.
Apparently he is a narcissist
i saw him on two separate youtube channels: Magnus Midtbø (norwegian climber) and Will Tennyson (bodybuilding vlogger)
in both cases, they were invited by Bryan Johnson to his lair, going through his routine. it felt like a surreal cringe fest of zero social awareness. Bryan was permanently looking for some kind of validation, comparing his skills to his guest, or asking the various personal trainers / doctors if he beat some younger age category, etc.
everything he does can’t be healthy and i wouldn’t call what he does “living”. he’s bound to a 24h program where everything is planned down to the minute.
Dorian Gray’s dilemma.
Sucks for this guy. I’m close to his age, I drank and smoked heavily for years and I look about the age he does
How about your penis?
Permanently flaccid
Nice
I mean he’s trying to find the healthiest things to help people live longer.
I’m not sure about the dick thing. But he’s carrying out many experiments with food, sleep habits etc.
Although you’re only focusing on the erection thing. Which seems a small part of the research.
I don’t think he deserves backlash for trying to help people generally
Billionaires don’t help people. They find ways to capitalize on people
That’s a generalisation
No, it follows logically. A person who helps people can and will never become a billionaire. Billionaires decide, on every day of their lives, to keep hording their immense wealth, where it serves literally no one, not even their own happiness, instead of donating it to help people who are literally suffering and dying from a lack of $100.
I’m open to having my mind changed if you can provide evidence of billionaires that accumulated their massive wealth by using non-exploitative practices
You can just say you have low intelligence and fundamentally do not understand the concept of peer reviewed reproducible science.
It’s shorter.
Well then you appear to be the unintelligent one. Or just a shill for the fast food industry that he’s threatening trying to make people better.
Because it IS peer reviewed.
Peer Reviewed and Independently Validated.
On his own website
https://blueprint.bryanjohnson.com/?srsltid=AfmBOoprwrlBC5e2ui3tNzT0pfOaOL79VbLq4rWM8ya7XvATJVnYAZ5k
What you’re doing is insidious.
You’re fighting for making people ill.
Is he though? He does so many things at once and only on himself. I don’t think you can call that research.
Also let’s be real. He’s not trying to help anyone but himself. If he ever does find some miracle cure that significantly slows aging, you can bet your ass that he’ll charge so much for it that only his billionaire cronies will be able to afford it
Experiments with a sample size of 1 are basically useless.
I agree with you and don’t know why people pile on against you. Is the guy cringey? Sure. Would it be more useful to humanity if he just donated his money to existing and more reputable research? For sure. But he’s just tinkering on himself, which is his right, and shares what he learns.
Is he misguided and a quack who may not learn anything? Maybe, but sometimes it’s the crazy folks who go against the grain that stumble on some good ideas.
Also, if anything he tries is interesting, yes of course he’s just a sample size of 1 - the idea is that other people could research it further.
(I think him roping other people in like his kid isn’t great)
he’s just a sample size of 1
And also he seems to be mixing “experiments” concurrently. How does he know what worked and what didn’t if he has 30+ variables to account for all the time? xd
sometimes it’s the crazy folks who go against the grain that stumble on some good ideas
The chances of that happening in real life are close to nil. Sometimes, people who actually know what they’re doing are mistaken or mischaracterized as crazy, but it’s not all that hard to distinguish them from cranks. And even among those with the technical or scientific competency to actually do things right, people often make wrong hypotheses. Science is hard.
I appreciate his data collection and experimentation, although plenty of the data is anecdotal and the number of simultaneous experiments in a complex system is gonna make parsing out protocols a chore.
And what useful data comes from one rich asshole trying EVERYTHING? This is not science, it’s existential desperation sprinkled on a soufflé of wealth and cringe.
that 2nd sentence is pure poetry 👌
Why are you so angry at him?
He’s literally trying to make people live longer.
I don’t see why you’re calling him vulgar names.
He’s trying many things to see what works and what doesn’t.
Your vitriol seems misplaced and I don’t understand your aggression towards someone trying to be helpful to society in general. It’s bizarre.
Which people is he “trying to help”?
Anyone and everyone that is interested in longevity.
Ooohh I’m sorry. “Himself” was the answer. Good game, thanks for playing.
He’s helping himself by publishing the results for everyone? That doesn’t even make sense.
You’re being obtuse and and I question your intentions in have a good faith argument.
He may think it helps others to publish his results. Or maybe it’s just a publicity stunt. But neither of those motivations mean that the results will be worth a shit.
Multiple people have already told why that “data” is useless. Why are you defending this guy so hard?
People are upset because this person has the means to effect real altruistic change but instead is pretending to do science in a purely selfish effort.
I hope that explains it. I have no horse in this race.
It’s the opposite of selfish, he’s publishing all of this findings to the internet for everyone to see and use.
It’s not pretend, he’s actually carrying out methodology, posting results and showing what’s effective
His methodology is a joke. Throw everything against the wall and hope something sticks. He has no way of telling which of the many experiments is successful, he’s a walking collection of confounding factors.
Also, if he were somehow able to find something that outperforms the null hypothesis, and against all odds, find out which treatment it actually is, he could just go drop the performative altruism, go private on it and try to monetize it.
Well yeah he’s trying many things at once because he wants to extend his life and live the greatest lifestyle. It’s not 100% an experiment. Some of it is just trying to live a longer life through healthy options.
He can read the results for different areas. Ie sleep, how long, when and how that affects his well being.
He’s trying to do a good thing and ask you guys can do is bitterly try and tear it down. I think you guys have an agenda.
He is posting shitty anecdotes.
No it’s the actual data sets
No, you don’t understand science.
You can simplify all of this just by saying you’re a big fan of the guy.
Literally everything in your reply is some extremely weird projection trying to invalidate another person’s opinion, and it’s incredibly strange.
Honestly, you come across as a person who hasn’t had much interaction with different opinions, perspectives, and personalities.
It’s not an option though. It’s an attack. They’re just attacking his personality, or calling him names. That’s not opinion, that’s just trying to smear the guy.
They’re bad faith arguments.
Calling him a rich ar*ehole isn’t an opinion. It’s just being rude.
Why are you so confused by this? It’s not at all as difficult as you’re trying to make it seem.
You’re literally in a public forum trying to project your assertions about another person merely because you don’t agree with them. It’s perplexing, really.
You fail to understand one of the simplest characteristics of the human species, and that is they’re not actually required to behave as you believe they should, and many understandably won’t.
I reassert my original advice to you to broaden your horizons to endeavor to interact with others more and more meaningfully, so as to familiarize yourself with, and become much better accustomed to, the plethora of human personalities. You’ll thank me, I assure you.
Because it seems they’re just trying to smear him. They’re attacking him for no logical reason.
I reassert my original advice to you to broaden your horizons to endeavor to interact with others more and more meaningfully, so as to familiarize yourself with, and become much better accustomed to, the plethora of human personalities. You’ll thank me, I assure you.
You really will.
He looks healthy enough to be a real snack for whoever gets to eat the rich
Just not the dick. According to this article he gets weekly penis injections, but it doesn’t say of what.
Immortality is a daily pain in the dick.
I don’t mind this guy. He’s basically committing his time, money, and body towards being a guinea pig exploring means that could benefit us all. I do understand there are some arguments to be had about some less-than-scientific approaches to his experiments, but I don’t think it totally negates the value.
Also, oh no, talking openly about penis health is uncomfortable to puritanical Western norms.
I like when Ordinary Things had a look at him. I can’t help but agree with his effort, even if his methods and theories leave a lot to be desired.
On a scale of billionaires most destructive to society, he seems to be very low on the list. One might argue he’s on the list of ones at least being minorly beneficial.
But, you know, people will hate. And those people are also likely contributing little of value to society.
Talking about your dick is one thing. Talking about your sons dick and using your sons blood is just fucking creepy. Hope the kid gets good therapy for this crazy shit.
Yeah I don’t know enough about him, just glances at bits of content over time, but I agree. History is full of such over enthusiastic tinkerers who subject themselves to ridiculous experiments but every now and then they learn something useful. It is cringeworthy, though, and not ok if foisted on others.
